Important Reminder: The transfer of databases between different versions of MySQL or MariaDB should be performed by EXPORT / IMPORT of SQL files using phpMyAdmin or a similiar tools of your choice. Do not copy the data folder between different versions of MYSQL or MariaDB. Databases from different versions of MYSQL or MariaDB are VERY unlikely to be compatible! You will also destroy the version of MYSQL or MariaDB that you copied the data folder to.

VC2015-2022 (VC17) is backward compatible to VC2015 (VC14), VC2017 (VC15) and VC2019 (VC16). That means, a VC14, VC15 or VC16 module can be used inside a VC17 binary. Because this compatibility the version number of the Redistributable is 14.3x.xx and after you install the Redistributable VC2015-2022, the Redistributable packages VC2015 (VC14), VC2017 (VC15) and VC2019 (VC16) are eventually deleted but you can still use VC14, VC15 and VC16.

The simplest, easiest, least error-prone, fastest way to install the VC++ redistributables that are essential to Wampserver (and to many other softwares) is to use a program that installs everything that is needed with a single executable.
No, this is not a utopia ! It exists and it's 'AIO Repack' named VisualCppRedist AIO created by addobi1406, always updated with the latest versions from Microsoft.

Download the latest version of the VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe file and run it as administrator, all necessary redistributable VC++ will be installed and excess or obsolete files will be removed. To ensure that everything runs smoothly, some applications will need to be disabled when requested by the Redist VC++ installer.
